What Japanese groom wear at your wedding?
I'm American, and my daughter is # 1 in Japan. If we get married, I saw white women clothing kimono and accessories dress topped with a good solid uchikake which can be white or have different reasons a white background, gold, orange or red. Miyuki says the colors and things shows symbolize various things, like purity white happiness = red, cranes and pine = Longevity, Komatsu etc. Its name means "pin", so probably uchikake get a pine. I could ask questions about my clothes, but I want to surprise. I kimono black, gray and brown and correspondents haors. I have several hakama, clear and scratched. My tabi are blue, black and white. My zori have straps black. Also I have three former samurai kamishimo and hakama. Do you think any of my Japanese clothing is best to use a Japanese wedding, or should I buy more. Miyuki may be judged the best answer to this question. Silly answers to questions of lead removed.
