Cosplay help?
I want to buy a costume for Anime Detour next year.
It is in April 2009, and I want to buy the costume now. When I buy the costume online, I’m supposed to give them my measurements. But I’m sure I will grow more before then.
I looked on my wall where I mark my height (lol XD) and I figured out that I grew about 1.8cm in the past 10 months.
I’m trying to figure out how much more cm to add to my current … everything.
I just turned 15, and I am very short for going into 10th grade. I’m 5’2″.
Not sure if this will help with anything, but:
chest – 83cm
waist – 68cm
height – 161cm
hip – 87cm
+ I need an eye patch for my cosplay. I’m cosplaying as Fai D. Flourite from Tsubasa. It looks like this: http://pics.livejournal.com/lexi_nyanko/pic/0000wys5

Any tips on how to make it? Or even better, where I could buy it?
This question doesn’t have to be answered, though. ^-^
Okay, if you’re still up for buying the costume, I’d say that you probably won’t grow all that much (in height anyway); I say this from personal experience.
As for the eye patch, it looks fairly simplistic and shouldn’t be too hard to make. I’d suggest a light fabric, that’s rather hard wearing and has a good weave. (I don’t know all that much about fabric 
)
Anyway, for making it, I’d obviously measure the circumference of your head. Then, either with a fabric marker draw the rough shape you want, or make a quick template from cardboard and trace it on. Because this is going on your face, I’d probably double up the fabric, folding it over a few times, before cutting it out. That way, hemming will be easier.
