Pool Tables for Sale

Pool tables in different styles, designs and colors are available in the market. Pool tables, the inevitable part of the game of pool, also come in different sizes, though the regulation size has a playing surface of 4 ½ feet wide and 9 feet long. The surface of a pool table is made from slate that is 3/4″ to 1″ thick and can weigh about 400 to 600 pounds depending on the size of the table. But other sizes of slates are also available. The slate can be of three pieces or two pieces. Good quality slate surface is important for a pool table to function properly. A felt surface is placed over the framed slate surface and attached. This felt surface creates an ideal surface for playing the game of pool.

The oak finish of the table is hand rubbed, sanded and then a lacquer is applied for a long lasting glossy surface. Its solid hardwood legs are hand carved and attached to the cabinet via a unique solid steel corner bracket. It has some other unique features.
