Planning a trip to Japan – and how to behave with respect

In my capacity as director of operations in the UK for a limited Tours the world, I am often asked all kinds of travel questions. Personally, I think that when you visit a different country, be respectful of their beliefs and customs of the host. So in that spirit that I put together some tips and basic rules that must be met during the visit to Japan.

By far the best and most efficient way to travel is by train, by the Japan Rail Pass to travel abroad. You have to buy a bond before to enter Japan as you can not buy when you're there and travel agents in your area will be able to tell where you can put on one side.
You have to qualify for the pass and if you are visiting Japan to visit a storm or Japanese national living permanently in a foreign country.
On arrival in Japan, going to a Japan Rail Pass Exchange Office or Travel Service Centers are located in train stations or airports main JR. You must present your passport and change the order of the day and tell them you want to start their travels.
This card is used The Japan Rail Travel, JR ferries, buses and JR.
Buying a Japanese-style green Rail Pass allows the use of green cars (first class) at no additional cost.

The Japanese are very precise when it comes to common forms and I believe, as a foreigner, it is important to familiarize yourself with some basic rules.

When you visit a temple or a temple, it is common sense to be taken by respectful behavior. This can be observed by a short prayer before a sacred object. Also I can show respect for tossing a coin in the tender box, followed by a short prayer.
In some temples, you can buy a packet of incense burning. If you have a problem or medical injuries, it is estimated that if the fan the smoke into the prejudice that there are many healing properties.
Some temples can be expected to remove shoes that can leave the entry on the shelves or take them with you.
When you visit a temple is expected to be healthy to prevent the entry of any dirt. Therefore, before entering a temple waiting to clean your hands with cool water whenever the source of cleaning. People will also rinse your mouth with fresh water spits at the fountain. It is not mandatory however.
Be allowed to take photographs inside the temple, but within prohibited, there will be signs to let you know what is permitted.

Make sure you have tissues when visiting the public baths, and is not always roll of toilet paper or hand drying. There are toilets in the Western and Japanese toilets in most places and toilet seat stocks remained in the stations and the temple area.

Japan welcomes the other, bowing, but do not expect is not good for foreigners to learn the rules for bowing nod Japanese is usually sufficient.

Older men often use it in your face in the institutions of the working class, but is considered impolite to do so. Also, refrain from cleaning the nose.
Here are some rules table for you to be aware of the restaurant. You will receive a hot towel at the beginning a meal that can be used for the hands because it is considered rude to use on your face.
Blow your nose in public is also considered considered bad education, especially if the dinner table.
The Japanese consider ways an empty plate, but not burp. When you have completed your meal try to remember to put all your dishes as they were at the beginning of the meal. Remember to replace the cover plates and replacing your chopsticks chopstick holders. Speaking of clubs there are plenty of rules on how to use them effectively. I made the base here.
Do not stick chopsticks foods like rice or foods happen to them directly to another person sticks. Do not use chopsticks to spear food with. Spoons are sometimes used to eat Japanese dishes that are difficult to eat with chopsticks, knives and forks are used for food Western.

5 What to bring – Finally, here are some things you may or may not have thought. Electric. If you need to change everything from your country sure to bring a converter or plug. U.S. aircraft can be used in Japan without a converter although with less power. You will need a plug two components and you can buy converters and plugs at airports. Better still buy one before you travel.

Citibank ATM is recommended to find while pursuing money that ATMs Most Japanese do not accept Visa International, etc. machines, due to the fact that the magnetic strip on the back is much thinner than ours.
The yen is the Japanese currency. A VISA or MasterCard to be used in department stores, hotels, restaurants and major cities. But if you travel the countryside of Japan, you may check credit cards or traveler can not be accepted. If it is a good idea for the Japanese currency with you, make sure to stay alert in areas where pickpockets proliferate as crowded trains, etc.

Last but not least, to avoid any embarrassing moments when one follows the Japanese tradition of removing their shoes, make sure the socks have no holes in them!

Have great holiday or vacation Japan

The eight fold path of the Buddha is thought to eliminate suffering and lead one to enlightenment. In Chinese and Japanese traditions the Budd…
