Hakama

Hakama are a type of traditional Japanese clothing. They were first used only by men, but today are used by men and women. Hakama are tied at the waist and fall approximately to the ankle. Hakama are worn over a kimono (Hakamashita). href = "http://www.himfr.com/buy-safety_webbing/" seatbelt> There are two types of hakama, divided and undivided. The type umanori have divided the legs, like pants. Both look similar. A mountain "or" "Type of umanori hakama, were traditionally used by field or forest workers. They are more flexible in size and narrower in the leg. Hakama are secured by four straps (HIMO), two himo more connected to both sides of the front of the garment, and two short himo attached to both sides of the back. The back of the garment has a section on rigid board, called koshi-ate, below which is a dome-hakama (a spoon-shaped component) which is in the obi or labor in the back, and helps keep the hakama in place. Hakama are seven deep pleats, two in the back and five on the front. The pleats are supposed to represent the seven virtues of bushido, considered as essential the way of the samurai. Although appear balanced, the arrangement of the folds before (three right, two left) is asymmetrical, and as such is an interesting example of asymmetry in the Japanese aesthetic. The most common type of formal hakama men are stiffness, usually striped silk black and white or black and blue. Used with montsuki black kimono (kimono with one, three, or five family crests on the back, chest and shoulders), white tabi (socks broken foot), Naga Juban white (under kimono) and various types of shoes. In colder climates, a montsuki haori (long jacket) with a white haori HIMO (haori-end) complete the set. Hakama can be used with any type of kimono yukata, except (light cotton summer kimono usually used to relax, sleep or summer festivals or outings). While striped hakama are usually worn with formal kimono, stripes in colors other than black, gray and white can be used to use less formal. Solid colors and the classification is also is common. While hakama was a mandatory part of clothing for men, Japanese men today often use traditional hakama only on very formal occasions and ceremonies tea, weddings and funerals. Hakama are regularly used by professionals a variety of martial arts such as kendo, iaido, aikido, and Kyudo. Sumo wrestlers, who do not wear hakama in the context of their sport, however, forced to wear traditional Japanese dress whenever appearing in public. As hakama are one of the most important dress formal men's traditional, sumo wrestlers are often carried hakama when attending appropriately formal functions. Besides martial arts hakama are also professional part of daily wear kannushi sanctuary, the priests who maintain and service delivery at the shrines. Hakama traditionally formed part of a comprehensive package called kamishimo. Worn by samurai and courtesans during the Edo period, including the holding of a formal hakama kimono, and a sleeveless jacket with exaggerated shoulders called kataginu (Photo). Samurai visiting the shogun and daimyo other senior on the court were sometimes forced to use a very long hakama called naga-Bakame (long hakama). These resemble hakama normal in all respects except their remarkable length in both front and rear, forming a train one or two feet long and prevent the ability to walk normally, helping to prevent surprise attack or assassination attempt (pictured here). Naga-Bakame are only used in plays, especially Noh and Shinto rituals. Some hakama during Sengoku period had the hems made narrower than the body in imitation of the pants worn by Portuguese football. This style was transmitted to the Edo and became known Karus-Bakame. Besides sailing, were a band of tissue research a bit like a pants cuff leghem sewn around each, so the fabric would not open ball like regular hakama. Sashinuki are a type of hakama that are meant to be used blousing in the leg and the exposure of the feet. To do this, are a little longer than normal hakama, and a cable is led by the hem and tight, creating a balloon "effect. To reflect the agency needed more formal sashinuki panel hakama six instead of four panels. Technically, this cord around the ankle is a type of sashinuki kukurica-(tied) hakama. The first form of sashinuki were cut like normal hakama (Although a little more) and a drawstring at the bottom of each foot. These cords are tightened and tied at the ankle.
