Is there a page or a place in Atlanta, where you can get a Furisode model?
please i really need Furisode do this! even if theres a cheap place or patterned fabric kimono in Atlanta
Specific N Atlanta … "Large enterprises simplicity" are costume designs model Kimono. It is, Butterick, McCalls and (www.mccall.com www.simplicity.com McCalls and Butterick) Son., As I said, the costume designs. I think it is the simplicity with a new "Memories" suit model, and it is not so bad. not 100% accurate, but not terrible (as some of McCalls / Butterick dress). However, the precise, we Folkwear (www.folkwear.com) kimono and hakama selling models (among other reasons for the traditional clothing). There are some books you might be able to obtain from a local library. John Marshall Japanese make their own clothes, Jenni Dobson Making Kimono (or something). Marshall's book is better, the other is for quilts, in fact, they want to try something else. I do not think Marshall is reliable 100%, either, but it will really work. Another option – on Yahoo Auctions Japan, and perhaps Ichiroya or Yamatoku (Google the names of websites) that sell what they call "karinui. These kimonos are based, so you can see the shape and design. The use of an alternative service like Crescent Shop or Rinky CELG You can purchase these karinui then sewn into a kimono for yourself. You can also try and buy a Kizhi / ebay bolt / Ichiroya / RyuJapan / Yamatoku and sewing up a Furisode for yourself. Make sure you have enough film (something like 18yards, IIRC, because the normal kimono around 12-13). Have an old kimono to watch while you work is also practical. Try to make sure it is authentic and not a Chinese brocade dress room, to be built differently. If you have further questions about kimono, there is a thread of "Mega" to the manufacture of kimonos in Immortalgeisha.com forums. It might be useful. Try searching the forums here and the information on Furisode. Yellow Pages finds nothing in Atlanta with "kimono" as a keyword. Maybe it's time for more intensive use Google search?
